where do you come from?

I was looking at my stats this morning

oh

first off -- you're not lost -- I'm trying out a new look.  I needed to freshen it up -- let me know if you find it hard to read.

where was I -- oh -- stats

What I noticed is that readers come from Mick and Molly's blog -- Sin's blog and JZ's blog.....but most likely Sin's blog (3 times more likely in fact) -- the reality is the most people either have me bookmarked or don't -- I rarely get a new reader -- and I love the ones I have

I have very little from keywords -- because I've made myself unsearchable.

I got worried that someone might stumble upon my blog and put 2 and 2 together

I used to scour the statcounter list to see if there were any troubling IP addresses --

and now that I don't pop up on searches (unless you're searching for my name specifically) I have a great deal more peace about blogging

I am more myself

less worried about exposure.

so if you've found me -- thank you -- I like being found
but I also like being a bit hard to find.

    Actually I was reading you before at Peacefully submissive. But you disappeared and I couldn't find you again.
    I never seem to be able to find people who've disappeared. lol.

    @Alujna -- oh! -- I'm sorry I lost you when I made the move. It was a sad time and I needed a fresh start! -- UCTMW is back -- so no harm done.

    Interesting new look - easy enough to read. You know, i don't like change much, but i'm sure it'll grow on me.

    And i'm really glad you've found a space of comfort with your privacy level.

    There's a website "cutestblogontheblock???" i gotta check that out!

    I do like the new look, which mostly isn't hard to read - except where the white print is on that pale greenish background on the edges, or on the flowers or dragonfly. Otherwise, it's nice and and clear.

    Can't remember how I first found you. From a comment at my place? From someone else's blog?

    I love getting comments from new people, to confirm they're not just passing by, never to return...

    @Aisha1 -- I'm sorry for the change -- At least you weren't trying to read it last night when I spent over an hour changing it over and over again -- I'm sure it was very distracting

    @Aisha2 -- Yes -- I think that's how most people find me -- friends of friends -- thank you for saying hello!

    @OG -- thanks for the feedback - yes - -that's the section I worry about -- although I think that part is not much read. I think I left a comment on your blog one day -- I remember finding your blog when searching for a topic on shaving.

    I love comments too
