Horrible person

It's time for me to out myself.

I'm a horrible person

horrible.

I'm happy

very very happy

I have a wonderful guy
who supports me
and loves me back

ya'll

he loves me BACK

but I'm also a smidge jealous

of Mr. C's new relationship

crazy, I know

I'm 90% happy for him

and 10% bitter.

it's a bit of a stab
seeing them happy together

when he couldn't be happy with me

yes

I am a horrible person

but this blog is about me being honest

honest with you

but more importantly honest with myself.

I want him to be happy
I think I just don't want to see it

  1. I think that the mere fact you can call yourself a horrible person excludes you from the horrible people.

The truly horrible people are the ones who never think they are.
I may need more coffee to make sense...

  2. Ah yes, the green-eyed monster. My crush object Ella has a new boyfriend. She's having a wonderful time where she is, and I'm very happy for her. And in a way her having a boyfriend makes it (ie my crush) safer. But it eats away at me like acid. I should do another Prince-themed post: "Baby I just can't stand to see you happy; worse than that, I hate to see you sad."

  3. It doesn't make you a horrible person - it makes you a human person. Of course it hurts. Feelings you can't control, but actions you can. If you were trying to make him feel bad, or cause problems between them because you were acting out your bitterness, that would be horrible. You're not horrible.

  4. NOPE- not horrible- you are normal.

And as J says if you acted on the fellings then yes that itself would be horrible.

    You SFP- sweet and normal.

Gosh- it would be horrible if you didn't have just a twang of those green eyed monster feelings.

  6. As I said to a friend the other day, it takes a lot longer to get over being proprietary about them than it does to just get over them.
Just how we fly, my friend.

  7. Most people have some jealousy in them ... I don't think it makes you horrible.
