I see things sometimes
a shadow moving
in the corner of my eye
I can understand how people interpret these things as ghosts
I see them when I'm tired mostly.
My Mom
God bless her
is a believer
she talks to dead people
they tell her things
when she was deeply into genealogy -- they would give her hints
once she swears someone dropped the book she had been looking for on her
friendly ghosts
she said that when she was little she would see them
and when she was a young woman raising kids -- it disappeared on her
she thinks she was too distracted to notice them
but she sees them now
has for about the past 25 years
and who am I to say that she's wrong
I see something out of the corner of my eye
maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me
maybe it's something else
I'll let you know if they start dropping books.

well, you must know i'm a believer...energy, life energy, the essential "who" of us...can't go away forever.
ReplyDeleteMy mom only came to me in dreams...though not so much after all this time...
and two friends "visited" shortly after their passing, just to say "thanks" or "bye for now"... they were heard, not seen, and before i knew they had passed...it did rather freak me out for a while.
Wonder if you have those funky dreams of yours before or after you see one?
