Floating

I took my time on my way to go see him -- traffic on Friday night where-I-live is horrible.

It took me over an hour to escape the city limits

after a few more miles

I found myself coasting

floating through the darkness
past an almost full moon

I turned the radio off to focus

Tony Orlando and Dawn isn't exactly pre-scene music.

So it was just me
and the tires singing on the tarmac

driving into the darkness

I found myself there -- in the middle of nowhere
requesting the key left for me

and settled in to wait

the business he was schedule to conduct
was postponed to today

so he headed my way sooner than expected

I had my instructions

panties, cuffs on wrists, ankles, blindfolded, sitting the the chair by the window

ETA? I text

30

I kill 20 minutes going through hotel room channels in THE hotel in this tiny town (the big town up the road has 1800 people -- not sure how many this one had -- less for sure)

and I start to worry I won't be set

I put on cuffs
strip down

set up the blindfold
and get in my chair

and I think to myself

5 minutes (at least) -- will feel like an eternity

and I focus on my breath

I count them

Breathe in - 1
and remind myself why I trust and love him on the exhale
He protects me

Breathe in 2
exhale - He thinks I'm smart

Breathing in
and out

to the count of 50

and before I know it

he's at the door

and we begin.

  1. Woohoo! Ok, i had to comment here even though there's two more parts to go.

Don't you love that moment when you know it's about to BEGIN?

  2. @Aisha -- I love that moment -- and when I can achieve true peace in it -- even more
