Punked - the dating edition

Diego and I scheduled a first meeting at lunch today
we've been chatting for about 6 weeks -- as friends

and tip toed around other things

and decided it was time to meet.

a no pressure sort of meeting
because there's no expectation that we will be anything

or that we will be anything in particular

I sort of think of him as a trainer - more than a Dom
a guide of sort

so
we met at a place near my work

and I would say that the connection is so/so

Not one of those electric connections
but - a nice friendly connection

While we waited for them to bring the check
he went to the bathroom
and

my phone rang

and it was the agency

He came back to me
furiously writing information on a napkin
and jotting him a quick note:

Foster Agency Placement call!!!!

2 Pre-teen girls
being placed today

I asked for some time to think

and it was wild
I'm sure insane for him
to watch the process
of me figuring this out

and deciding
to change my life
in 5 minutes

So - what is simultaneously the best thing and the worst thing that could happen in a first meeting?

a foster placement -- right before your eyes

Yeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh -- it's one thing to know ti COULD happen
it's another thing to watch it happen.
