People ask me if I give paintings away
and my answer is that it's painful
how do you give someone a painting?
paintings are so personal
your art work in your house
is how you express your personality in your home
How in the world do you give someone something that they have to choose themselves
so -- (laughing)
instead I have a house full of my own paintings
I'm going to eventually have to figure out a way to sell them
or
get bigger walls.

If someone admires a painting, more than once, or really makes a big deal of it, then I might give it to them. I also have a house full of my paintings. And it's neat to go to someone else's house and think hey, nice painting and then realize it's one of mine.

And my sister hates some of mine.
