not even that can ruin my day

I had a lovely day

things are going great at work
and

the home tour went fine -- sure I have to do some things

but they're minor

and my work
changed the dress code to casual

permanently

no really!

so I get to work in jeans

EVERY DAY!

I finished up the tour
which made me very happy

and then

back to work

to a big steaming pile of poo

and you know what?

even after listening to people
lie

for 3 straight hours

it was still a wonderful day
at

    I CAN work in jeans... but sometimes people in the layers above or below me give it the raised eyebrows, so I still need to judge by what I have to do that day!

    So glad the home visit went well. Sometimes once the initial meet and pry-into-your-every-thought is over, it is easier...you're on home ground so to speak...

    We went NUTS preparing the house for our second adoption...they'd sent a list, and we had 5 weeks to do a TON of work...but we did it...
