Holidays in blogland

The holidays in our little group tend to get quiet

either we have little to write about
at lest little that has any spice

or our readers are off on vanilla adventures

and when we come back
we catch up

but it's a quiet sort of time.

Well

I took the little one to the doctor today for his 2 week check up

He has gained a pound

which shocked me -- because he had the runs very badly last week and I thought he might not be gaining as he should - I switched him to the soy

which

as I discovered today -- turned his poo - olive green

like the color of an Army jeep.

While we were there he needed a change -- just a wee diaper -- and managed to shoot a line of pee -- up over his head onto the wall

my boy doesn't have a pressure problem.
today I got the cloth diapers that Nilla sent me -- too late to save the wall -- but appreciated nonetheless for covering purposes.

and while being examined by the doctor

decided to cover him with some olive poo

a full day

after all - they were going to stab his foot and draw some blood -- he needed to make them PAY

my kiddo is coming home from College for a few days -- I miss her -- and apparently there's been a breakup (I didn't know there was a boyfriend) -- apparently SHE is the heartbreaker (no shock -- she comes from stern stock)

and my brother and SIL are coming in on the heels of that.

Bachelor # 2 is out of surgery -- and drunk called me
which was sweet -- I don't think he remembered we were chatting on Facebook
morphine really is fun.

so

yeah

I'm entrenched in vanilla ville.
