So today I read the little one's file -- and found nothing new
and discovered that the foster parents endorsed me
and made some plans
including - seeing if the foster parents will allow us to take her next weekend to allow the girls to get used to the idea of having a little one here
and we'll work on making the transition happen as soon as possible.
because the sooner the better is my new thought
If they terminate rights -- I have to have her in my house for 6 months before I can finalize -- and the sooner that 6 month count starts the better.
I had a long talk with my director today
and I sort of like the idea of her current parents being a part of her world
and her current sibs
cousins of a sort
and why not
she wouldn't have cousins otherwise
and what a nice thought that is.

in spite of having a 2nd night with the puke-twins
things are looking up
