I wonder if he realizes that he basically puts me to bed each night
every night
I get a text
"settled yet?"
and I text back with a request
"10 min?"
or
sometimes "15?"
and I turn off the TV
and change into PJs
and crawl into bed
his voice relaxes me
until I'm ready to say goodnight
and go to bed
it's not an order
lol
I'm not even sure it occurs to him
but
it's our ritual
as
he tucks me in
every night.

Sir puts me to bed every night. He has from the very beginning. A couple of times he has had to do it by email, but for close to a year now he has put me to bed every night. I would have a very difficult time falling asleep without this ritual.
