The diaperpail list

When the kiddo was here this week

we spent a lot of time talking about these 2 little boys I'm considering

one night
she said

"you should make a list of all the things you want to do before you become a mom"

and I smiled

"but I've done them"


"no - -no you should go on a trip"


"I went on that great trip last year with you and your friend
and then went to see my friend Aisha
and a trip to Florida"


"but you should have an adventure"


"getting you last year was a huge adventure"
"sweetie -- I've spent a lifetime doing all the things
I want to do before I become a mom"
"I'm just ready"


and I am
so very ready.
