Why is it strange to walk up to a woman in the dark? If anything I suppose to walk up to anyone...but we shouldn't feel 'helpless' just because we are women. I often feel as if people leave me the f*** alone when I walk with an air of confidence whether it be night or day. *shrug*

I completely agree, don't make me nervous at night when I'm alone in the dark. I have a far greater need for personal space then.

I could say half a dozen snarky things about missionaries having a sense of entitlement about not having to live by the same rules as the rest of us, but I might offend some nice supporter of missionaries.
