looking for my sewing kit
which was on the floor next to the toilet
a plumber was working in there
he scared me -- I had no idea he was there
He tooked over his shoulder at me and said
"I've found the problem"
"Do you have Pecans?"
He hands me a pecan -- that's half shelled
when we were kids you could take your pecans and have them half shelled -- cut open on the sides only
I said -- "um, there's a mouse in it"
He said, "Yeah - sometimes they lay their eggs inside
and I stared at it for a bit
and thought
hmm - that's not a baby mouse
I think it's a rat
and it gets bigger and bigger
but it's still cute
and inside a bigger and bigger pecan shell.
I have no idea what this one means
but you know -- it's like Freud said, "sometimes a rat in pecan shell -- is just a rat in a pecan shell"

sweetie?
ReplyDeletewhat the *fuck* do you eat before you go to sleep?
*giggles*
omg.
good website http://www.dreammoods.com says:
To see a rat in your dream signifies feelings of doubts, greed, guilt, unworthiness and envy. You are keeping something to yourself that is eating you up inside. Or you have done something that you are not proud of. Alternatively, a rat denotes repulsion, decay, dirtiness, and even death. The dream may also be a pun on someone who is a rat. Are you feeling betrayed?
In particular, to see a black rat represents deceit and covert activities. If you see a white rat in your dream, then it means that you will receive help from an unexpected source.
Plumber
To see a plumber in your dream suggests that there is some emotional issue that you need to deal with instead of letting it clog up within you. Perhaps you need to turn to a friend or even professional help in order to deal with your problems effectively.
Plumbing
To see plumbing in your dream symbolizes the flow of emotions. If the plumbing is clogged up, then it signifies repressed or pent up emotions that needs to be released and expressed. Seeing plumbing may also be a metaphor for your body and its internal working. Thus the dream may point to health concerns.
HUG,
nilla
but Nilla -- it was a BABY rat -- so perhaps it just represents something a bit soiled -- rather than decayed.
