Sometimes I'm surprised -- like with the recent round of blog awards
btw -- I started to respond -- but got too long winded and the baby called me out on it -- it's still in my drafts box -- most likely to languish forever.
but what I started to say is that the recent blog awards always makes me go exploring
back
back
back
through all the people who nominated my friends
and throughout he people who they nominated as well
or who nominated them
and what I find
much to my surprise
is that there are tons and tons and tons of bloggers out there
who don't know this little corner of the internet
this area
where we all seem to know each other so well
it makes me feel like a small town girl
with my teeny little blog
a drop
in a sea of blogs
amazing
how so many of us started blogs
because we felt so alone in the world
like we were the only ones
struggling with TTWD
to find that
no
we're not
not even a little bit
that we have 100's
and 100's of brothers and sisters
and we're just the ones who blog.
wow
well we are at the middle of some circles and at the periphery of others. Such a good point though that there are so many of us, and we're just the ones who blog!
ReplyDeleteWhat i like about it ie blogging and the little community is there is a lack of outright judging at least i havent come accross it this is a refreshing difference to bdsm orientated sites and chatrooms in my experience.
ReplyDeleteQuite often you come accross the same people commmenting on different blogs and you realise how small it really is but yet there are many many more out there.
I love that we're not alone
ReplyDeleteand I love our little community too
You're exactly right, i find myself thinking along the same lines. Whole other communities of bloggers out there, and i don't know them (yet anyhow.) It's wonderful and amazing. Sometimes, i get a little rush of "left out," i want to know everyone and be friends with everyone blogging, and there's just no way. Too many of us.
ReplyDeleteBut it's very, very cool. i like the image that Sin's comment gives me, of all the circles... overlapping and rippling....
i love it too.
