Any thoughts on the meaning?
Aisha sent me the following and allowed me to print her email here as long as I am clear that it's just one opinion and all in fun:
"....some people believe everything in a dream represents part of your self. So, male figures may be some aspect of your own masculine self. The house is often thought of as representing your self, your personna - where "YOU" live.
Water is generally feminine - connected with the great mother archetype. The ocean. Ambiotic fluid. Those kinds of female images.
Enough for now... but it's all just for fun anyhow, right? And really, what's most important is what stuff means to you. So -what does Mick or Mick and Molly symbolize to you? And how is that expressed in your self?...
So -- what do you guys think?

ReplyDeleteCould be but mouse always believed that water in a dream represented freedom, and in the case of the water being contained, as in a bathtub, it means something's being stifled.
Maybe you just need a landlord to send over a good handyman.

Sorry, I'm being glib aren't I? I guess I think that dreams are just the leftover stuff from our days getting smushed together any old way.
@mouse -- that's an interesting thought -- particularly since I was hiding in that tub -- hiding inside something that's stifling me?
ReplyDelete@JZ -- hmmm -- that would be interesting -- the aliens are my inner subbiness allowed out to swim around - -- but I was worried in the dream that they had laid eggs in me -- perhaps worried that there's more subbiness? hmmmmm
@Mick -- don't be too flattered -- Dream me isn't going back to the dream-rental-house....which means that you're out on rent.
@Sin -- I don't think you're one of the Aliens -- as for M & M -- that's an interesting thought -- I think they symbolize my secret identity. And yeah -- I think you do take things from your life and re-cast them in your drams -- but I also think that the dreams are a way that we work thigs out
